Privacy Policy

Pokédle is free and requires no account to play. Your game progress is stored in your browser's local storage on this device.

To sync streaks across devices and power the leaderboard, we assign an anonymous identifier (a signed cookie) and store your results and streak against it on our servers. No name, email or personal profile is required or collected unless you choose to log in with Discord.

If you create a public trainer profile, your display name, avatar, affinity, game statistics and honors are publicly visible. If you upload a custom avatar, cropping and WebP conversion happen in your browser; we store only the processed 256×256 image in Cloudflare R2, not the original file you selected.

If you choose Google sign-in, we request only the OpenID and basic profile scopes. Google provides a stable account identifier, display name and profile image. We use them only to authenticate you, label your trainer profile and provide an avatar fallback. We do not request your email address, Google Drive, contacts, calendar or other Google data, and we do not sell Google user data.

We use privacy-friendly analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to understand aggregate usage. These may set cookies and collect anonymized usage data. We do not sell data.

Your data & deletion

You can erase everything we hold — including your profile, custom avatar, results, honors, XP and streak — at any time. This also clears your local progress on this device and issues a fresh anonymous identity.
